IDEA PROPOSAL - MODEL PROTOTYPE
Concept : Motion
I started off first with a mock up model made of foam board to illustrate my initial thoughts on the mechanism of the furniture.
I wanted to work on something with adjustability and changeable features. A furniture where the lifestyle is being improved, innovated and designed for the post Covid-19 generation.
I was thinking about one word : mobility
What mechanisms could be closest to the sourcing idea of 'mobility',..rotating, swirls, spirals? slanted, reposing?

I personally felt that I have learned a lot on how really impactful the post Covid-19 lifestyle already is and how it could be worse on the upcoming generation in terms of both working from home and working remotely. I personally learned more and more about how my medium could be developing to create further opportunities for post Covid-19 employees. It could take a bad turn and take it’s toll if we don’t reconfigure our way of working to adapt best to the new normal using our maximum capacities, design technology and further development.
With my lecture’s help and support I was able to gather essential ‘types’ of spaces that would help to grow towards an innovative working lifestyle.
I have also realized through the feedback of my lecturers that there will still be some limitations to my project as I am working on changing a working lifestyle to the new normal, and facts are that we have just entered the new normal. We are still adapting to this new era.
Still I have found it best to work on my final design project choosing this topic, to have the opportunity to learn even more about designing better and best working spaces for the post Covid-19 generation
